Current mood: busy

I'm working now (sticky fingers again. what am I thinking? that I need money and a boost of self confidence- those people looove me and it feels good to do something you definitely know how to do), volunteering (i need to learn to discipline children. Brisha, a 4th grade dorky black girl is teaching me so much already; I hope I can do something for her), moving to james island (don't know how or when I'm going to physically be able to do that), finishing school (very strange and sad as I've just now learned how to get the most out of an educational institution), being part of a club for the first time ever in my life (being a secretary, taking the best minutes ever, baking for bake sales and fundraising), and maid of honoring it up (sister's bachelorette and bridal shower the very Saturday when we can enter into our new home and have to leave this one)...
so maybe i'll see or talk to you before I'm dead from being all responsible.

damn girl, don't play around. what club are you in? that's cool you're volunteering, i've wanted to do that for a while but now my internship sucks up all my time. baking for bake sales! i bet it feels awesome, getting stuff done. also just to let you know, i am 100% available on weekends to help you move shit - i got a body and a car and love for all ya'll and would like to put them to work. don't hez (itate).

So, I don't know if you are familiar with the lady who does the ppk.com and wrote vegan with a vengence, but she mentioned something about how the reason bush won the election against kerry was because texan folks are all about making ridiculous amounts of yummy homemade pies and baked goods and not buying them at your local safeway or something along those lines (she's obviously better at expressing her thoughts than i am). ANYWAY, i agree and i am all about the bake sales. We had one here to raise money for the music room to buy more replacement parts for instruments and SERIOUSLY the kids and i baked for probably a week straight. It was so much fun, now i want to hold bake sales for everything. I am glad you share this joy with me.

Also, you move more than anyone i know (in a good way) i have a postcard from san fran all written out for you, just needs a dress.

I heard Bush won because they tacked on anti-gay marriage things to the ballots in a lot of places and got the fundamentalists out to vote...but delicious pies may have been part of it. Delicious pies can work tragic miracles.
anyway, I am now working with hooligan children and I would love some advice... I'm learning how to be a stearn disciplinarian! It's very strange. I was told that I need to be more mean or people are just going to be mean to me, asked why I have so many zits, and told that I look ugly with make up on... brutal.
Also, I do move more than anyone. You have no idea. It's not necessarily a good thing... I wish I could find a decent home with permanent roommates in a great location... I guess that's what we're trying right now.
